Summer in the mountain
Flying Fox (Arena Skyliner) Fixed rope climbing (Klettersteig Gerlosstein)
The area around the hotel surprises its guests with a wide range of summer activities and adventures. Surrounded by the impressive mountains of the Zillertal Alps, Gerlosstein is a very special place for your summer vacation in the mountains. Furthermore it is an excellent starting point for nice trips to attractions in the region.
Explore our large playground, go hiking with your parents, take a fly with the Flying Fox (Arena SKYLINER), climb the fixed rope climbing (Klettersteig Gerlosstein), observe the fish in the fishpond….. all this and more activities start directly at our hotel.
Two things should be children
get from their parents ...
Many things to do for kids:
Children skiing lessons can be taken directly at our hotel with the local certificated ski school, sledges can be rent at the cable car station, snowtubing can be done all day at the beginners slope.
A big playground next to one of our terraces offers lots of bobby cars, slide and swings. In 10 minutes walk you can reach our fish pond, or you can solve a quizz by walking to the top of the Gerlossteinwand.
The adventure goldmine in Hainzenberg with its small zoo and show dairy is worth a visit during your holiday
Trips to famous sights, like the "Goldenes Dachl" (Golden Roof) at Innsbruck, Tratzberg Castle close to Jenbach, Swarovski Crystal Worlds in Wattens are possible, too.
We are perfectly equipped for families with child-oriented dishes, chairs and beds for toddlers and children, playground, and special children's rates.
Of course you can also participate in various activities organized by the tourism office!
