Sunset with hut fun on the Arbiskogel
The “Sonnenstüberl Arbiskogel” Restaurant is THE Meeting Point for skiers.
It can be reached by the "Arbiskogel" lift right next to the Mountain Hotel Gerlosstein, or by the "Sonnalm" lift. Gerlosstein is a small original skiing area where you can spend a great calm skiing day with natural snow. Ski slopes of all levels of difficulty await you.
Have you ever been the "last one" on the ski slope and experienced a sunset in the mountains?
You can do this at our rustic lift stubbers " Sonnenstüberl Arbiskogel" with its great location in the center of the skiing area Gerlosstein.
Enjoy our local delights and the cosy parlour at the end of a skiing day, without the hastle of having to catch the last ride down into the valley. National and international cuisine is offered.

On Mondays and Wednesdays with have extended opening hours specially for ski slope runners.

Rustic mountain hut in the middle of the ski area
Your children can romp around in the snow outside, while you are sitting on the sun terrace with a steaming cup of coffee or a glass of mulled wine and enjoying the calm.
The "Sonnenstüberl Arbiskogel" features a sun terrace for about 80 persons and is an ideal meeting point for groups as well as for the celebration of special events, such as birthdays, weddings or class reunions with a very special flair.
The rustically furnished parlour can accommodate up to 50 persons.
On Mondays and Wednesdays is : “Skitourengeher Abend” (Ski mountaineers evening)
Meeting time for sport fans who “climb” the ski slopes in the evening by uphill with their skis. Skis are equipped with fur, this holds the skis on the ground so one can walk up the mountain. Most of them start in Hainzenberg at the cable car station. The difference in hight is 900 m from the valley to the top. One ski slope route is especially open for them until 23:00 at night.
